Sofeia Eddy is a New York City based Visual Artist and Herbalist who is guided by her profound connection to nature. Her childhood was spent living off-grid in upstate New York, where she learned about gardening, wild plants, and home healing remedies. Her current work consists of mixed media collage paintings that illustrate the relationship between humans and the natural world—using her personal stories and a blend of Indigenous folklore as sources of inspiration.

Sofeia received her MA in Studio Art from the University at Albany in 2016 and her BA in Studio Art and English in 2015. Since then, she has been creating and exhibiting her work across various galleries, venues, and pop up shops in Albany and throughout NYC, including the Albany Center Gallery, Plaxall Gallery, and the Greenpoint Gallery. Sofeia's work has been featured in the fifth issue of Bronx Narratives magazine, and she has had two art collaborations with the Bronx Brewery.
